About our CEO

Mark Kelley

Mark Kelley started his journey in music at the age of 14 learning to play the piano in the local church. He then began to direct the choir and trained each section to sing their parts.  Christian music remained a large focal point in his earlier musical life and; in 1997, when he bought his first keyboard workstation; he started to focus more on secular music.  Although, some would say, he got into the industry at the late age of 25; his desire to enter the business with his own label was paramount.  Having a vast lending and business background with an entrepreneurial spirit and; before starting his own music production company; Mark successfully launched his own Real Estate and Financial lending company but over the coarse of time music appeared to be winning his heart so he transitioned his business skills to work in the industry full time.  Over the next ten years, he produced songs and recorded albums for both local and national artists.  He was invited to join other production teams but held onto his vision of running his own label. Through networking, in 2009, he inked a Pressing and Distribution arrangement for distribution of his Alley Noise Label with TMG Street Pride Warner Music Group. This is where he worked on the project "Cashin' Out" which gave him his first RIAA certified plaque.  This was a deal he felt he needed to realize his musical ambitions and what every executive aspires to do; ”Develop Talent” and “Write Checks!”  Mark is a member of The Recording Academy that provides him the pleasure of being a Grammy Award Voting member.  He also has a BMI affiliation with his publishing company, called, Gray Smoke Publishing.  Looking to build-up his industry status, in 2012, he joined the TMG Street Pride music family where he will serve in the capacity of Vice-President of Operations and Label Development, along with having his Alley Noise Label as a Label Associate to TMG. In 2014 Mark Kelley started Odic Records in 2015 and signed hip hop artist Quaz.  Quaz went on to chart at #15 on the Billboard Hot Single Sales charts in 2017/2018 with the single “Extravagant”.  The single made it to Mediabase Powerplay list in January of 2018. In 2021, Mark Kelley signed rising rapper Gabby Gabanna who had already had singles with DaBaby and Pap Chanel. Mark Kelley and Odic Records release Gabby Gabanna’s single Baller’s Club and followed that with another single “P.G.S.L.T.M.” (Pretty Girls Still Love Trap Music)  The single made it to number 35 on the Billboard radio single charts at the end of 2022. Next up is his Pop artist, Latent Icon who is set to release his first single in 2025. Mark Kelley is looking for more talent to take to the next level.
